Shadows in Aisle 3
December 1995
Monica Lawson — wife of Steven Lawson, son of the powerful Richard Hulligan — dies along with her newborn in childbirth at the General Store, in aisle 3, while her husband delivers groceries to an elderly woman at the edge of town. He returns to find them gone.
But was it really an accident? Or was it orchestrated by his own father?
Steven disappears. So do answers.
The General Store closes and remains vacant.
December 2000
Five years later, Richard Hulligan’s health begins to fail. Poor genes — or something more sinister? On December 27th, he’s discovered on the floor of a vacant aisle 3 at the General Store. He’d been there for days.
Coincidence? Or plotted?
May 2016
For 16 years, the town exhales. Then James Avery’s body turns up in the Prohibition-era tunnel beneath the General Store that he and his pregnant wife Tara had brought back to life.
Is the General Store cursed? Or does its history come full circle?

Shadows in Aisle 3 Player Testimonials
“I enjoy playing murder mystery games with friends so I was a little skeptical about trying one on my own but this game pulled me in. The suspects were convincing and the clues made me think. I was second-guessing every character and reviewing evidence for anything that I missed. Great game and can’t wait for the next one!” – Megan
“I played both the Cold Case and the Fresh Case that were linked together, and I absolutely loved the experience! The storyline was incredibly well written, and the way the cases connected kept me invested the entire time. Even though I ended up guessing wrong, the actual culprits were my first suspicion before I changed my mind, which shows how well the case was crafted. The clues were challenging, realistic, and fun to work through. I would highly recommend these games to anyone who enjoys true crime and solving mysteries!” – Gigi
